Seems somewhat strange that Warner Bros. would release a whopping number of clips all in one day. It smells of desperation and you have to wonder if their internal numbers are projecting a soft opening. Many fans of the original soap opera haven't been thrilled with the comedic tone of the trailers and television spots. Perhaps Warner Bros. has heard the complaints loud and clear as you can notice in the clips belows that their is less of an emphasis on humor. The darker tone of these clips might be enough to convince the Dark Shadows fan base that the marketing has been misleading.
