First of all...I just want to say this...FUCK YOU Bruce Timm and Brian Azzarello you piece of gahbage hacks who RUINED the character of Batgirl and Batman for me. Okay then. Just needed to get that off my chest first.
So back when this movie was first announced, I was a bit worried that they would completely follow the comic book storyline scene per scene. I was worried because Barbara Gordon was barely a character in the comic and was just used as a misogynistic plot device. So when it was announced that Barbara Gordon would get even more story and an entire prologue that promised even more character development. I was pretty excited for this since Barbara Gordon is perhaps my second favorite DC Comics character after Harley Quinn.
Then the movie came...and the rest is history.
