We learned only last week that Marvel Studios were eyeing two Game Of Thrones episode directors, Alan Taylor and Daniel Minahan, to helm their much-anticipated Thor sequel, following Kenneth Branagh and Patty Jenkins' departure. However, questionable news outlets, 3 News NZ among others, seem to think Marvel has chosen a "favorite."
Alan Taylor is reportedly in talks to take over the Thor movie franchise following the departure of director Patty Jenkins.
Taylor, known for his work on shows like Mad Men, Game of Thrones and Boardwalk Empire, has emerged as the favorite to pick up where Kenneth Branagh left off.
When news broke that Marvel narrowed their search down to two, they were also closing in on a new scribe to rework Don Payne's script.
