Speaking to Bleeding Cool, Andrew Stanton - who directs the adaptation of the sci-fi classic John Carter, set to be released next March - reveals that he's laying down the groundwork for two potential sequels. Disney purchased the rights to the first three books, so looking into a couple of sequels is rather inevitable (Should the first film be successful, of course). Stanton also said that he wanted to 'go to all eleven stories' and beyond. For more from the director, click the link below. We bought the rights to the first three books when we first started. I thought, let’s set it off right because you never get time back. The worse case scenario is that you’ll plan for more but only make one.
