Beyond Anthony Mackie’s ‘Falcon’ role and Hayley Atwell’s coy ‘Peggy Carter’ reprisal, three other actresses — Imogen Poots, Felicity Jones, and Anna Kendrick — slipped through the trades as front-runners for a part in Captain America: The Winter Soldier. And while Kendrick is reportedly the top choice for the Marvel role, believed to be Sharon Carter, we’ve yet to hear anything from either actress until now.
Ain’t It Cool News recently caught up with the Academy Award nominated Up in the Air actress, promoting David Ayer’s End of Watch. And in response to a question regarding her involvement with the 2014 sequel, Anna Kendrick reworded the usual “no comment.”
“All I know is that I can not really say anything,” she said before adding “Sorry, man.”
