Speaking with News Day, actor Anthony Mackie (The Hurt Locker, The Adjustment Bureau) discusses his recent casting as Sam Wilson/The Falcon in Marvel Studios' highly anticipated sequel Captain America: The Winter Soldier. He gives a run down of the character's biography, and reveals that it's a "huge honor" for him to be portraying the first African-American superhero in mainstream comics as well as being somebody that his son, nephews and nieces could idolize.
