"I’m not interested in developing anything," Cameron said. "I’m in the Avatar business. Period. That’s it. I’m making Avatar 2, Avatar 3, maybe Avatar 4, and I’m not going to produce other people’s movies for them. I’m not interested in taking scripts."
The challenge of this plan, as least as far as Cameron fans are concerned, is the fact that the earliest Avatar 2 will see release is in 2016 - which makes it understandable why Cameron doesn't want to do outside projects.
