After a bit of a hiatus, I'm back with the 25th installment of Baddies That Need Movie Love. Not long ago, we learned that Sony Pictures was still moving forward with a Venom film and had set their eyes on Chronicle director Josh Trank to helm the picture. As we now know, Trank opted to sign on to direct Red Star for Warner Brothers. Regardless, at least we know that Sony still has the Venom character on their radar. We still don't know how they will approach the film; if the character will be reintroduced in the rebooted Spidey-verse or if it will be a stand-alone film. If we rewind a few months, to the 18th installment of Baddies, I highlighted Venom's, and Spidey's for that matter, powerful nemesis Carnage and most of you felt that you couldn't include Carnage without first introducing (or reintroducing) Venom into the mix, and I agree.
