Ever since Bane was announced as the villain in The Dark Knight Rises, speculation that he would "Break the Bat" in Christopher Nolan's third and final Batman movie has run rampant. While several different rumours and set photos have all given us reason to believe that we'd see the iconic comic book scene recreated in the movie, Bleeding Cool now claim to have confirmed this information with a reliable source. Here's an excerpt from their report.
So, we’ve been told – amongst a few other things that we hope to make sense of and share in the near future – that The Dark Knight Rises gives Bane the opportunity to break Batman’s back.
