"We knew starting the movie that we didn't have a finished second or third act," the director revealed in a recent interview with Empire Magazine. The production was shut down for several months roughly halfway through shooting in order for them to figure out how to finish off the story. While many saw this as a sign of trouble, Sonnenberg is slightly more optimistic about the risky plan. "Was it responsible? The answer is, if this movie does as well as I think it will, it was genius. If it's a total failure, then it was a really stupid idea."
