Ben Affleck Is Sounding More And More Unsure About Taking The Helm Of THE BATMAN |

Gone Baby Gone and The Town were both well received by critics, while Argo won an Academy Award. However, with Live by Night not doing particularly well either commercially or in terms of reviews, Ben Affleck has delivered what many are calling his first flop as a filmmaker. As a result, it appears as if he's more cautious than ever before about working on The Batman, especially without a strong script.
Asked by The Guadian whether or not it's his next movie, he replied: "That's the idea. But it’s not a set thing and there’s no script. If it doesn’t come together in a way I think is really great, I’m not going to do it." So, while he remains open to bringing the Dark Knight back to the big screen in a solo film, he simply will not do it if they can't get the story right.
