Ben Affleck Talks More About Deathstroke's Role In THE BATMAN And Why He Cast Joe Manganiello |

Ben Affleck has already shed some light on his decision to utilise Deathstroke as a villain in The Batman, and now the actor and director has elaborated on that during a recent interview with IGN. Essentially it sounds like the filmmaker is excited to explore the similarities between the two, and no doubt the awesome hand to hand combat we're no doubt going to see in the movie as a result.
"You know, it's hard to say exactly what it is. I think the reaction spoke for itself. It just seems like a great counterpart to Batman. They're similar in terms of skillsets, they're similar in terms of tone, and he's never been utilised in a movie before which is really, really exciting."
