Deadline reports that Brave looks set to make an impressive $60+ million this weekend, despite something of a mixed (though mostly positive) reaction from critics. This information is based on matinee trends and pre-sales, although it's worth bearing in mind that such early figures sometimes end up proving to be inaccurate by the time Monday rolls around. The biggest surprise however is the news that critically panned 20th Century Fox movie Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter is now on track to open up to between $20 million and $25 million. This is a far more positive figure than predicted by tracking, although the film from producer Tim Burton and director Timur Bekmambetov has so far been torn apart by critics, with some declaring it the worst film of the year so far.
