Deadline reports that The Avengers' current international box office stands at $178.4M after its first five days of release in 39 territories. The film has seen the highest opening of all time in everywhere from Mexico to Brazil, Argentina, Central America, Peru, and Boliva. Asian markets such as Hong King, Taiwan, Malaysia, Philippines also set records, while the massive openings are currently expected in big nations such as Russia, China and Japan (and of course, North America).
