The Los Angeles Times reports that with just a few days until it finally hits the big screen, The Dark Knight Rises is generating more audience excitement than the last three highest grossing blockbusters (Marvel's The Avengers, The Hunger Games and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part II). This has led analysts to predict that the highly anticipated threequel will gross upwards of $180 million during its opening weekend in North America. It's believe that it may even topple the impressive record of $207 million set by The Avengers.
