Brad Pitt Wanted By Warner Bros. To Star In Adaptation Of All You Need Is Kill! |

Vulture report that Warner Bros. has offered Brad Pitt the leading role in All You Need is Kill, an adaptation of the manga comic by Hiroshi Sakurazaka which the studio reportedly acquired the rights to for a seven figure sum last spring. Director Doug Liman's Luna has been dropped by Paramount Pictures after co-financier Skydance decided to pull out of the project (rumored to be $100+ million) explaining why this adaptation is now moving ahead.
According to the site, there have been some issues with the tone of the movies final act, although they reveal that a new draft has resolved the problem. While Pitt may still pass on the project to work with David O. Russell on The Mission (a story about U.S. Navy Seal’s six-year-long rescue effort to free fifteen U.S. hostages from FARC rebels) he is currently their top choice.
