Digital Spy point out that Bruce Campbell has joined the cast of Sam Raimi's upcoming Disney movie, Oz. Best know for his lead role in the directors Evil Dead series of movies and humorous guest appearances in the Spider-Man trilogy, this news is sure to please fans of the actor.
"I. Am. In. Oz," Campbell revealed on Twitter recently. "Sam refuses to tell me what character I will portray," he added. "Just know that the role is pivotal." This was posted alongside a photo of him and the director together.
Oz stars James Franco, Mila Kunis, and Zach Braff, and follows the story of a small-time circus magician who is whisked away to the Land of Oz where he quickly rises in fame and meets the three mysterious witches. The movie is set to be released on March 8, 2013. Read more: |
