Presented by Profiles in History at Saturday's Chicago Entertainment and Comic Expo, the Captain America: The First Avenger auction ended up selling an impressive 217 of its 219 lots and raising a whopping $1.1 Million As we reported here on CBM earlier this year, they included everything from props to costumes, one of which was Captain America's USO costume. The Wrap reveal that it went for an amazing $228,000, while the Mark II "autopsy" suit from Iron Man 2 ended up fetching $132,000. Concept art from the movie made thousands of dollars, as did a portrait of the Red Skull. Captain America's ice encased shield went for over $20,000, the USO shield fetched $11,000 and Cap's final suit was sold for $233,000.
