Carrie Fisher's STAR WARS EPISODE VIII Scenes Revealed As Braintrust Meets To Plot Leia's Future |

Carrie Fisher may have finished shooting Star Wars Episode VIII before her sudden death last month, but Disney and Lucasfilm must now decide how they're going to move forward with General Leia Organa in the Star Wars Universe. According to The Hollywood Reporter, they've learned of at least two "key scenes" the character has in the next instalment of the franchise, but will they now be cut?
It's not clear as of right now, but Star Wars Episode IX director Colin Trevorrow will meet with Lucasfilm boss Kathleen Kennedy this week to discuss options due to the fact that Fisher was set to have a much larger role in that movie than in Rian Johnson's Episode VIII. In the latter, at least two significant scenes have been shot, and those include, "Leia reunion with Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) and a confrontation with Kylo Ren (Adam Driver), her son who killed Harrison Ford's Han Solo."
