Method acting has always been a unique element in the making of movies; Jared Leto's notorious antics on the set of David Ayer's Suicide Squad are just one recent example of how crazy things can get when an actor fully immerses himself in a character. For Charlie Cox, who plays the eponymous hero on Netflix and Marvel's Daredevil, experiencing the physical blindness of The Man Without Fear was a necessary part of the role.
In an interview with ScreenGeek at Wizard World in Pittsburgh last weekend, Cox described how he blinded himself in the first season of the show. “I don’t know if you know this [or not] but on the first season, I was trying to figure out how to do it.
