Last year, Thor kicked off the blockbuster season by opening up at #1 with $65.7 million and eventually grossed $446 million worldwide. In The Avengers, the God of Thunder returns and actor Chris Hemsworth said this about his return in the superhero ensemble. "Thor has conveniently come back to earth briefly because Odin summons dark powers from the universe and it’s very costly.
