The past ten years or so has seen The Avengers disassemble, the wiping out of nearly the entire mutant race, a Civil War between the superheroes, a Secret Invasion, Norman Osborn's Dark Reign, and the superheroes reassembling to take on him and later Fear Itself. These stories have all been connected and there has been plenty going on with the X-Men too. Now that all comes to a head with Avengers Vs. X-Men.
"We have some moves planned," teases Axel Alonso in an interview with Newsarama. "The Marvel Universe is changed by AvX. It is not a reboot or a retcon. It is the Marvel Universe that you grew up in.
