Thanks to Comic Book Resources, we have a first look at Steve McNiven's variant cover and interior pages for Monsters Unleashed #1. Set to be released next January, the series will be written by Cullen Bunn and feature a rotating team of artists which also includes Greg Land, Leinil Yu, Salvador Larroca, and Adam Kubert. The basic premise is going to be the classic Marvel Universe monsters all attacking at the same time, something which is sure to pose a problem for both The Avengers and the world!
"The reasons behind the monster invasion is a bit of a mystery for the heroes to try to figure out. There is a power at work here, a power that has a history going back thousands of years, a power that has impacted numerous worlds besides Earth," Bunn explained.
