COMICS: DC Confirm New Justice League Series And 52 #1 Issues In September! |

Today, I reported the news that DC will be rebooting the comic book universe and relaunching all their titles as new #1 issues, while RorMachine brought us the story that Geoff Johns and Jim Lee would be helming a new Justice Leauge series featuring the original cast of characters the team is best known for. (both stories came via Bleeding Cool) Well, here is the official announcement from DC.

On Wednesday, August 31st, DC Comics will launch a historic renumbering of the entire DC Universe line of comic books with 52 first issues, including the release of JUSTICE LEAGUE by NEW YORK TIMES bestselling writer and DC Entertainment Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns and bestselling artist and DC Comics Co-Publisher Jim Lee.
