As it was revealed before, the 100th issue of The Walking Dead would have several variant covers, and now we have a first look at the Matthew Roberts' art for one of them. The comics featuring this cover will only be available to those who buy tickes for the The Walking Dead Escape: San Diego event, which will be taking place at the Comic-Con weekend. And the comic will only be given freely to walkers and survivors, while those who purchase spectator tickets will receive a poster with this artwork instead. This is a bit more of information on the event:
“There are three ways to participate in this epic adventure. Participants can be a Survivor and race through the zombie infested evacuation zone; a Walker who becomes one of the undead, embracing the inevitable; or a Spectator who watches the apocalypse from sidelines at the Escape Party.
