It could be in order to help promote Marvels upcoming Avengers film or maybe it's due to his increasing popularity over the years. Regardless, this October will find longtime fan favorite Hawkeye flying solo in The Avengers:Solo. However, the 5 issue series will not be the purple archers first solo run. Back in the 80's he also starred in Solo Avengers. Series writer Jen Van Meter told NEWSaRAMA that there would also be a background story featuring another unnamed member of The Avengers.
