COMICS: Iconic DC Character Returns To Life In Latest Issue Of Brightest Day! |

This week has seen the return of Alec Holland, Swamp Thing, to the pages of the DC Universe. Despite having been mainly featured in the companies Vertigo imprint for more than two decades, the character is now back in the DCU and there are apparently plenty of plans for him.
Here's what DC editor-in-chief Bob Harras told Comic Book Resources in a recent interview.
"Having seen the plans we've got coming up for Swamp Thing, I'm incredibly excited about his return. Issue #23 sets in motion an amazing chain of events that impacts just about everybody and everything in the DC Universe. Brightest Day is just the beginning of an extraordinary journey for Swamp Thing."
