COMICS: IDW's GHOSTBUSTERS 101 Will See The New And Original Teams Cross Over |

While the surviving cast of the original Ghostbusters made small cameos in Sony and Paul Feig's franchise reboot this past summer, fans were disappointed to learn that the roles were completely unrelated to their original characters. Given that's it's incredibly unlikely we'll ever see the two teams meet in a film, IDW comics has taken up the reins to unite the teams in a new comic series, titled Ghostbusters 101.
In a statement, series writer Erik Burnham said “this is it. A meeting of the teams. I can honestly say that it’s something a ton of fans have been demanding since the very hint of a new Ghostbusters movie; I get asked at cons and social media a lot: when will there be a crossover?
