Fans have been crying out for a MAX take on Wolverine for a long time now - after all, if any character qualifies for the more mature imprint it's surely the Mutant berserker. Well this October we will finally be getting a new ongoing MAX series from writer Jason Starr, with art from Connor Willumson and Roland Boschi as well as covers by Jock. Speaking to CBR, Starr reveals a little of what we can expect from Wolverine MAX..
"I definitely looked for a realistic version of Wolverine and not a superhero version. I wanted a down to earth guy who could function in the real world. I wanted to give him a back story that really explains how he's been able to do that for centuries -- to integrate into society.
