COMICS: Justice League #1 the Best-Selling Title of 2011 |

While reporting on the latest details involving DC's aggressive relaunch of their company wide reboot/relaunch, the L.A. Times Hero Complex reported that Justice League #1 is the best selling comic of 2011 and that figure is based on pre-order totals alone! This number will significantly increase when the comic is available for purchase at local comic shops next week.
Plus, six other titles are also enjoying early success with pre-order sell totals well over 100,000.
Well, for all intensive purposes, it looks like DC's relaunch strategy was a success. However, the real test will be whether DC will be able to maintain their early numbers. It's long-term success that will determine the ultimate verdict on whether this strategy will be deemed a failure or success.
