Yesterday, Marvel revealed plans to finally release Daredevil: End of Days, from writers Brian Michael Bendis and David Mack, with Bill Sienkiewicz and Klaus Janson on art. The series takes place roughly 10 years in the future and The Marvel Universe is a very different place according to Bendis. "We get a glimpse of what the Marvel Universe could look like if everything goes to hell," he reveals. "Very specifically, how the world of Daredevil has changed...including Daredevil's very public murder." The reason for the delay of the book is simply down to the fact that those involved have been so busy with other projects.
"This is the quintessential Daredevil story," adds Sienkiewicz when asked about the significance of the series. "The way the future is being portrayed -- it's entirely of a piece.
