Scott Snyder (Swamp Thing) has made no secret about wanting to pen a series starring Superman in the past, and a recent rumour which has surfaced via Bleeding Cool seemingly reveals that the critically acclaimed writer will finally be getting a chance to show fans his take on the iconic superhero. However, it won't be in the either the pages of Superman - which is set to be taken over by Red Hood and the Outlaws scribe Scott Lobdell - or Action Comics as Andy Diggle is reportedly being lined up to take over from Grant Morrison. Instead, DC are apparently planning to launch a new Man of Steel series which will coincide with Zack Snyder's big screen adaptation.
