Legendary comic-book writer Grant Morrison sits down with Comicbookresources.com to talk about his take on the Action Comics and what we can expect from the Man of Steel. There'll even be some Justice League in Action Comics!!!
CBR News: I don't think I'm alone in calling "All-Star Superman" one of the seminal runs of the past 25 years in comics. Why return to the legendary character in "Action Comics?"
Grant Morrison: The number one reason I came back to Superman for "Action Comics" was the fact that it all started with "Action Comics" #1, and it all ended with "Action Comics" #1.
Beyond that, after "All-Star Superman," I really wanted to do an early years' Superman story and tell it using the original Superman from the 1930s and 1940s, the version of Superman from before the war.
