Earlier today we posted a teaser heralding the return of Captain Marvel to the MU in July. But fans of Mar-Vell - the character last seen back in 2010 and the last to don the star and mantle of Captain Marvel - may be in for a disappointment, as Bleeding Cool report the following..
I”m told that this time, it’s Carol Danvers, Ms Marvel’s turn, in a new costume with a new name, and one that might be a little more user friendly for the fanboys. Coming from Marvel in July and written by Marvel rising star Kelly Sue DeConnick.
DeConnick, wife of Matt Fraction, has written for Oni Press, Image Comics and has worked on a few one shots and mini-series for Marvel.
