The Amazing Spider-Man is still chugging along at the box office with the last numbers that we got nearing the 800 million dollar range. With numbers like that and the films cliff hanger after credits scene a sequel is all but a given. Whether or not director Marc Webb will be apart of the sequel not so much a given. Columbia Pictures Chief Doug Belgrad sat down to talk with The Hollywood Reporter where he said Fox Studio holds the power to let Webb do the film or not. We'd really like him back, but there are obstacles. He has an obligation to Fox," he said. The obligation that Belgrad is referring to is Webb owes them another film for doing 500 Days of Summer.
