Some nonsense spouted by American Psycho author Bret Easton Ellis proposed that the script for Ben Affleck's solo Batman movie was a mess, and although Ellis then walked back his claims, he succeeded in giving those that were looking for a reason to throw shade at the film a bit of ammunition.
Well, depending on how much stock you put in an actor praising a project he's involved in, comments from former True Blood alum Joe Manganiello - who will play the villainous Deathstroke in the movie - might serve as an antidote.
