| Del Toro Reeves On Fox's Director Shortlist For DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES |

20th Century Fox has come up with a short list to replace Rupert Wyatt as the director of Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes, and Deadline have spilled the beans - according to them, the directors currently being looked at are Matt Reeves, J Blakeson, Juan Carlos Fresnadillo, Juan Antonio Bayona and Jeff Nichols. - And, you can add two very exciting names to that list: the site just updated their article and added Guillermo del Toro and Rian Johnson to the mix too.
Apparently Reeves is "top of the list". The Cloverfield director just today stepped away from Warner Bros. planned remake of The Twilight Zone citing schedule conflicts, perhaps that's because the Apes sequel is now on that schedule?
