Hey U Guys! were on the red carpet for the Jameson Empire Awards and scored a number of interviews including one with the flamboyantly vivacious Jane Goldman who confirmed that[@ the 1:32 mark]she and director Matthew Vaughn are developing the X-Men:First Class sequel "among other things." It was previously reported that Simon Kinberg would be writing the sequel so this development means that he's either working with Vaughn and Goldman or he's out.
X-Men: First Class is a 2011 American superhero film directed by Matthew Vaughn and produced by Bryan Singer, based on the X-Men characters appearing in Marvel Comics. The fifth installment in the X-Men series, the film acts as a prequel for the X-Men trilogy, being set primarily in 1962 during the Cuban Missile Crisis.
