"Pirates Of The Caribbean 4 opens this May, but Disney are so confident it’ll be a success that they’ve hired Shrek scribe Terry Rossio to begin writing a fifth film.
Rossio has penned all four of the Pirates films thus far with writing partner Ted Elliot, though it appears that he’ll be walking the plank alone with the as-yet-untitled Pirates 5.
Meanwhile, the studio are also hoping to lure back On Stranger Tides helmer Rob Marshall for the fifth outing, alongside (naturally) Johnny Depp."
