Over the past 24 hours or so, you may have seen a lot of headlines asking if you spotted the big Captain Marvel Easter Egg in Doctor Strange. Don't fret if you didn't though as that stems from an interview director Scott Derrickson took part in where he would neither confirm nor deny the interviewer's speculation that it could be a nod to the character (despite it sounding nothing like Carol Danvers).
In case you're still not sure what we're talking about, when Strange is trying to pick his next patient before that car crash, he's presented with a woman who had a chip in her head to control schizophrenia. What intrigues him is that the 22 year old has been struck by lightning, and many believe that this could be the new origin story for the hero one of the screenwriter's previously alluded to. "All I can is...maybe," Derrickson teased. "That one, you're going to have to wait and see..."
