Dominic Cooper Studied Robert Downey Jr. For 'Howard Stark' In Captain America |

Chatting recently with I Am Rogue, actor Dominic Cooper, whose portraying Howard Stark in Marvel and Joe Johnston's Captain America: The First Avenger film, reveals an obvious influence for his role. While his character is the father of Tony Stark, portrayed faithfully by Robert Downey Jr. in the Iron Man franchise, Cooper ultimately dishes on that. Being asked foremost, Cooper says:
“Yeah of course, what a wonderful sort of representation to know who you son is going to become,” replied Cooper. “It gave me an idea of how slick he should be, what a wonderful entrepreneur and inventor the man should be. Then you think of the period of time that he grew up in, so it was wonderful.
