EDITORIAL: Why I Can't Help But Feel A Little Disappointed Looking At The Avengers Assembled! |

While there can be no doubting that seeing The Avengers assembled sends a shiver of excitement down my spine, there's another feeling I get every time I look at the three pieces of art which have been released so far. Disappointment. Sure, we have Captain America, Iron Man and Thor all standing side-by-side, along with Black Widow and Hawkeye, but the team just feels a little...bland. The fact is, we've already seen the big three showcase their powers, and although I have no doubt that Joss Whedon has plenty of tricks up his sleeve (and let's face it, seeing any of these guys kicking ass will NEVER get boring) I'm not exactly chomping at the bit to see what the two members of the team who have no powers at all can do. Sure, it'll be awesome to see Hawkeye on the big screen, and more from Black Widow, but The Read more: |
