As we already know, Angelina Jolie looks set to star - although it still hasn't been offcially announced - as Maleficent, the evil sorceress from the Sleeping Beauty story, in Disney's live action take. And now they may have found their fairytale princess to complete the equation..

Sources tell Twitch that Elle Fanning is now in talks for the role of Princess Aurora, the young beauty sent into a lengthy slumber in the classic tale.
Elle Fanning, younger sister of Dakota, garnered a lot of praise for her great performance in Super 8, and you can see her in theaters now in We Bought A Zoo. Stromberg has no directorial experience but he has acted as production designer on Avatar and Alice in Wonderland, and will again on Disney’s upcoming Oz The Great and Powerful.
