Entertainment Weekly Pays Tribute To Late STAR WARS Icon Carrie Fisher With Their New Cover |

We are all still mourning the tragic death of actress/writer Carrie Fisher on December 27 following a mid-air heart attack, and the tributes continue to pour in. For EW's latest issue they're taking a look back at various aspects of Fisher's life and career, and featuring several contributions from those that knew her best - including a touching essay from her Star Wars co-star, Mark Hamill.
For one of their covers (the other features the late George Michael) they give us another look at one of the most well-loved images of Fisher as her most famous and iconic character, Princess Leia Organa.
We will get to see Fisher's last big-screen performance this December when the still untitled Star Wars: Episode VIII hits theaters. Thankfully, reports indicate that Leia will have a larger role in the movie than she did in The Force Awakens. Read more: |
