This time last year, fans were anticipating the first footage from Joss Whedon's The Avengers (trailer was released on October 11th). Now, with Phase Two in motion, Marvel Studios is gearing up for the big marketing push for the Shane Black-directed threequel Iron Man 3. Both Yahoo! Movies and E! Online are reporting that the very first trailer will be released on October 23rd.
"Despite the delay in filming, the movie is still on track for its May 3, 2013 release, and Marvel has promised the first teaser trailer will debut at 12:01 a.m. on Oct. 23."
I can also confirm this, as I heard the same thing, as well as that the poster will be revealed on October 22nd, at 9 AM PST.
