Filming on 'The Hobbit' delayed as Peter Jackson recovers from surgery. |

The Hollywood Reporter is claiming that on Wednesday night, director Peter Jackson was admitted into a New Zealand hospital after experiencing acute stomach pains.
A statement was released saying that once he was admitted to the hospital, he underwent surgery for a perforated ulcer. He is said to be currently resting and is expected to make a full recovery.
This comes as one of many recent problems with production on this movie, first with the previous director leaving, and various financial issues to do with the studios backing the film.
Filming for 'The Hobbit' was suppose to start filming sometime this much but Jackson's stay in the hospital isn't expected to delay for very long. |
