What you see is the first official image of Asterix & Obelix: God Save Britannia , the fourth film adaptation of the adventures of the characters created by Rene Goscinny and Albert Uderzo , whose work began in recent weeks in Malta. The photo shows the actors Gerard Depardieu in the role of Obelix and for the first time Edouard Baer in to Asterix.
The film, which will be directed by Laurent Tirard , among other features in the cast Catherine Deneuve , Charlotte Le Bon , Fabrice Luchini , Valerie Lemercier , Guillaume Gallienne and Vincent Lacoste .
