Season 2 of The Walking Dead debuts Oct. 16 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on AMC.
The second season of AMC's television series The Walking Dead is scheduled to premiere on October 16, 2011 and will feature 13 episodes. The series is based on the series of graphic novels of the same name by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore and Charlie Adlard; it was developed for television by Frank Darabont (now fired), who will serve as executive producer for the second season along with Robert Kirkman and Glen Mazzara.
