Fox Buys The Rights To Graphic Novel Rust; X-Men: First Class Producer Attached! PDF Print E-mail

The Hollywood Reporter have revealed that Fox are in final negotiations to buy the rights to Archaia graphic novel Rust, hiring The Devil Wears Prada writer Aline Brosh McKenna to pen the script as well as X-Men: First Class producer Simon Kinberg. The graphic novel is said to have been taken to all the major studios this past week, with great interest from Warner Bros. and writer-producer Akiva Goldsman before Fox moved in and nabbed it from them. Rust is a high-octane adventure set in the prairie lands of an unknown time.
