Roughly two weeks back, current Wonder Woman writer Greg Rucka created quite the internet frenzy when he stated that he personally believed Wonder Woman was bisexual. Of course, to longtime comic book fans, that particular belief is nothing new but the uninformed section of pop culture mistook Rucka's statement as some sort of revelation.
In a new interview with Variety, in celebration of Wonder Woman's 75th Anniversary, Gal Gadot was asked about this very same topic and whether the film version will contain any traces of this sentiment. Her response? “It’s not something we’ve explored [in the film]. It never came to the table, but when you talk theoretically about all the women on Themyscira and how many years she was there, then what he said makes sense.
